I am Mario Muti, a Senior Software Architect and IT consultant. For 28 years I have been designing and shipping systems, from embedded firmware to cloud platforms. I work remotely as an independent contractor with companies that need a senior architect without hiring one full time.

System integration and APIs
I connect ERPs, CRMs, e-commerce, business software and IoT devices through APIs and middleware, so data stops being copied by hand.
Data and AI
I build pipelines, dashboards and KPIs, and bring AI where it pays off: process automation, predictive analytics, assistants on company data.
IT consulting
Technical audits, technology choices, security by design and team leadership: a senior opinion when the decision is expensive.
I also write code: Java and Spring Boot, .NET, Flutter for mobile apps, Python for data.

SIoTRA, a real-time IoT platform
- Context
- At NITECH, where I am a partner, we needed a single foundation to build applications on data from vehicles, sensors and geolocated assets, without starting over on every project.
- What I did
- With my business partner at NITECH, I designed SIoTRA, a general-purpose platform that ingests and processes location-based IoT data in real time and turns it into events, KPIs and vertical applications.
- Result
- The first vertical built on SIoTRA, ControlFleet (fleet management), went into production in three months.
E-commerce with over 160,000 products
- Context
- An online store with a very large catalogue, slow pages and manual update processes.
- What I did
- Performance tuning, migration to a new server, SSL and DNS management, APIs to sync catalogue and stock with the client's systems.
- Result
- Catalogue and stock updated automatically, a faster site and infrastructure that is easier to maintain.
Flutter apps for B2B companies
- Context
- Companies with field sales and logistics teams, using a different tool in every department.
- What I did
- Cross-platform apps for sales force automation, CRM, RFID logistics, business intelligence and time tracking, integrated with existing business software.
- Result
- One codebase for Android and iOS and real-time data for management.
